Grab and Go Program

We will begin our grab and go program for lunch and breakfast on March 23, 2020. Pick up times are now expanded from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at Taylor Elementary and Highland Primary.

COVID-19 Business Resources

On behalf of Navajo County Leadership, along with the Northeastern Arizona Local Workforce Development Board, and the RealAZ Development Council, we would like to assist in helping you find answers to some of your most pressing questions in regards to COVID-19 and how it is impacting your business and employees. We want to help direct you to the different resources available.

The governor has established a 211 number for help with all your questions relating to COVID 19 including economic questions you may have.

Many of your questions can be answered on the State of Arizona’s new website - Arizona Together.

Blood Services

The American Red Cross is facing a blood shortage after several blood drives have canceled due to COVID-19. They are asking healthy people who aren't sick to donate blood. The American Red Cross will take precautionary measures for donors including taking their temperature, providing hand sanitizer, and practicing social distancing when possible. If you are able to donate blood, please check out the link below.

View more photos of the board honoring two SUSD retireesTwo of Snowflake Unified School District's finest have decided to retire at the end of this school year. Dori Davis (kindergarten) and Jean Ellsworth (first grade) both have 41 years with the district. 

These ladies' were honored at the March 12, 2020, board meeting. Mr. Hatch spoke of the ladies service and how much they mean to Taylor Elementary and Snowflake School District. The board meeting was packed, and there was not a dry eye in the building. We are very thankful to have two amazing teachers who have touched so many student's lives. We wish them well on their retirement!

STEM Team Competition Video

Although our STEM team did not prevail in competition, we have posted a video of their efforts. They worked hard and we are proud of them! Congratulations to Blue Ridge for becoming a national finalist.

Rainforest Animals Assembly

Taylor Elementary recently treated students to a rainforest animals assembly. The students had a great time seeing the different rainforest animals and learning about wildlife conservation education.

Kindergarten Registration

Our kindergarten registration is Monday, April 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate, immunization record, and proof of your physical address.

School on April 17

April 17, 2020, is now a school day. It was originally marked as a snow day. We have used that snow day, so we will have school on April 17. Please make any adjustments to your calendar.
